How our statistics work
Statistics are useful when you know what they describe, where they came from and what might be missing. This page explains how to read the information on Volleyball NT.
School standings
A school table belongs to a specific district, division and season. Compare teams within the same table, and check the coverage notice before treating the totals as complete.
Volleyball NT awards 3 table points for a match win and 0 for a loss. Teams are ordered by table points, then wins, then set differential, then team name.
Our compiled table may differ from a district’s official standings. Differences can result from missing matches, corrections, timing or the ranking method used.
Where displayed, wins and losses refer to recorded completed matches. Set totals and rally-point totals are different measures. A missing score is not a score of zero.
Club Stats
Club Access covers the Club Team and season described in the offer and on the statistics page. Available metrics depend on the source and the matches included.
Hitting, passing and match-result summaries should be read with their source definitions and sample sizes. Different systems may calculate similarly named metrics differently.
A previous-season archive describes that previous team and season. It does not establish the roster, results or performance of the current team.
Sources
Source and coverage details are being checked. Pages that have not been verified are labeled accordingly.
Where a source link is available, it identifies where information was obtained or can be checked. A link does not imply that the source endorses Volleyball NT.
Coverage and updates
Coverage varies by district, division, team, event and season. A page may be complete enough to browse while still missing some matches.
“Last checked” tells you when the displayed information was last successfully verified. It is different from the date the match took place.
Sample data demonstrates the page layout. Historical data belongs to an earlier season. Planned coverage means verified results are not yet available on that page. Delayed updates are labeled when known.
We do not describe a page as live or complete unless that description is supported by its coverage and update process.
Corrections and Player data requests
For a possible score or team error, send the page link, the detail that appears wrong and a source we can check if you have one.
For a concern about a Player’s personal information, use the separate data-request instructions. Please do not post private information in a public score report.
